God wastes nothing
He uses everything. He works in the awkward conversations we didn't know how to handle, the presentation we fumble through, the tears we shed when we let others see that we're human too, the messy part of life that we wished looked a little more put together.

We are free to be rejected
We are free to face rejection because the most Perfect One of all faced it too. Rejection itself led him to the cross which was the very thing that made him win in the end.

Why I left facebook
With Facebook you get glimpses, and I don’t want glimpses anymore. I don’t want to see glimpses nor do I want to give away glimpses. I want these glimpses replaced with coffee dates and phone calls and pages of snail-mail letters. f

What I learned in 2024
I can rest in the transitions. And you can too. Because they will always be here, and the restlessness doesn't mean we're doing something wrong. It just means we're human living fully in this ever-changing world.

Fighting for peace
Oh how our minds, when left on their own, strive to control, to plan, to ruminate, to live anywhere but the present. Going to beautiful places will not do anything for us unless we change the landscape of our minds in midst of it all.

I can’t have control, but I can have joy
I am learning, in this season of all the things, I can't have mastery or full control. But I can have joy.

A journey towards rest: reflections from a beach trip
