About Elizabeth

Shalom friends,

I’m Elizabeth and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a licensed therapist (LISW-CP) with over 8 years of experience working with children, youth and their families, in both clinical and research settings. I’m also a wife to Joey, mamma to Laura, a friend to some beautiful people, and a lover of the church.

Throughout my blog, I integrate parts of my own journey with my clinical training and experiences as a therapist.

I write on the practice of mindfulness, including how to cultivate presence in the midst of all the good, hard, and ordinary moments of life. I reflect on ways to draw our focus back to the here and now, while staying non-judgmental and compassionate towards ourselves and our experiences.

I write on the goodness of God’s grace, and how his big love heals. Woven within my blog are my own reflections on grace and meditations incorporating Scripture and guided imagery.

I write to embrace freedom in the truth. Friends, we are so much healthier and freer when we tell the truth to ourselves and others. I tell stories of my truth-telling journey, while encouraging you, too, to be brave and face what’s hard and good.

Here, I write to nurture presence, grace, and truth in my own life and in yours.

So come with me, friend. Let’s journey on together 🙂
